Christmas

So I did do a post about Christmas but it didn't post now I can't get on to it to try again. But it has been a bbit of a crafty Christmas this year. And here are some pics.

Buckfast abby

This weekend me and Chris whent out for the day. Couldn't decide were to go. and ended up at buckfast Abby. It is so pretty and we heard the monks chanting. That was a bit eary but good. Then whent to the two bridges resterant and hotel. It is really nice there they had roaring fire's going and all the Christmas decorations up. I also found out that someone close to me is having a baby. So I have picked up the crochet hook again and decided to make a hungry caterpillar hat and blanket so when baby is wrapped up in it it looks like the hungry caterpillar :)
Is anyone else doing any little projects?

All the small things

Haven't done one of these for a while. So here goes. I have been really buisy. Gone back to work after nearly a month off and feel better for it. I am currently doing a cource in mental health. And passed my 1st unit today. HOORAY. I have just finished all my Christmas shopping and got all my daughter's birthday presents for 1st December. She is sooooooo excited because I am taking her to a massive indoor play area with all of her friends. I also when to see a day to remember and because Leona was poorly and couldn't come I made shor I did the clap for her and txt her to let her no. She was very poorly. I have also started reading the 3rd book in the hunger games series. I started listening to it on a audio book but I don't think I like them, I can't get in the the story because I like to do the voices in my head and the woman reading the book just didn't do them right! Me and B have been making Christmas cards to save some money to. I draw them she colours them in. Oh and I have a few more followers. I am always so happy to see people follow me and I will always follow you back because it's great knowing people are a bit interested in your life and the little things that happen. So massive thanx to these wonderful people <3

Book origami

Hey. Anyone know what to do with loads of old books? My house was like a library and I needed a clear out. I don't want to throw them away because I just can't bring myself to do it. And I usually give them to charity so someone else can enjoy them. But I like them and wanted to do something with them. My main point to this post is asking for help. I think I want to give book origami a go and can't find any tutorials online. Any one know how to do it or can point me in the right direction? Would be great if you can help. Happy day

Helping people smile

If you have been reading my blog then thank you. But you will also know I go through big spouts of server depression. I was just wondering if anyone else has experienced it Or had to help family or friends though it. As I am a person going through it I loose track a bit and forget that there are other people around me who is going through this with me. Supporting people through depression can cause anxiety and stress for loved ones around you and I can imagine this is hard. Depression puts strain on all types of relationships and can be draining on everyone. Friendship,family and partners. Being honist with each other is so important but sooo hard to do. I dont know if anyone has seen the adverts for time to change. But just sending a txt or a phone call does make all the difference to a person with a mental dissorder. If you know someone suffering then give them a txt today. But don't forget it isn't all about them. Make shor you take time out for yourself and do something you want to do because if you take to much on yourself you won't be able to help. I am so greatfull of my friends thanx for reading. Halloween

We had a great Halloween hope you all did to. I know this is a late post but I'm ok with it.

Halloween

Not a overly interesting post but thought I would share be for everything gets ruined.Getting ready for Halloween today. Deep clean the house and put the decorations up. Unfortunaltly I have the highest ceilings and even with a step ladder I can't reach them so the decorations only go as high as I can reach. I have done some nails I didn't like the 1st ones so I took them off and started again. And dressed Harry my dog up :)

Smelly stuff

I was having a little read of leonas blog the other day and I saw that she had some smelly soy tarts. They looked great so I went over to etsy maryjoscents checked them out. Unfortunately all the smells that were on there sounded incredible and I didn't have enough money to get them all. I narrowed it down to 3 sets. Then could only get two. Bare with me this is going somewhere. I chose the Christmas pack,12 lovely smelly christmasy waxy burning tarts and peaches and cream. I couldn't afford the honeysuckle hearts with rose petles in. Booooo. I sent my orede of and with in a few hours I had the nicest message from the shop owner. Saying not only has she thrown in a few freebies that she had just made for Halloween but as she could see I had likes the honeysuckle hearts so She threw them in as well. How nice is that! Messages when back and forth for a bit and this woman is lovely. Plesas go and have a little look at her shop. You won't be disappointed

Saltrum

I have had a really bad week. My depression has got to the point were I can't work for a while. Sucks. I have been put back up on higher medication and want to sleep all day every day. But having a family this isn't something I can do. So to try and cheer myself up I come here. 

Saltrum. This has always been a special place for me. I use to come here with my grandparents when I was very little. I always remember taking my bike, riding half way down and making my grandad carry me and my bike home, then having banana and honey sandwiches mad by my gran. Yum. It is really nice being able to walk around with my dog Harry, crunch the leaves squelch in the mud and get away from everything. It is only about a 15 Minuit drive from my house but when your in the woods it feels like your a million miles away. It brings back such good memory's so always feel a bit better after coming here.

My friends art

The other day I put up a pic of a star wars drawing my friend did. I asked if I could have a few more drawings she has done because I don't think she realises how good she is and I want every one to be able to see her amazing art. 

She was happy to do this. So abit about her. Her name is melody. Everyone calls her Mell. Mell is 27 and lives in Plymouth. She has a family and a wife who makes cute crochet animals. Mell is quite quiet un till you get to know her. Then she is a fun and happy person who loves every thing to do with batman. Just giving you a little bit about her because I think every artist has to have some mystery behind them.
