Helping people smile

If you have been reading my blog then thank you. But you will also know I go through big spouts of server depression. I was just wondering if anyone else has experienced it Or had to help family or friends though it. As I am a person going through it I loose track a bit and forget that there are other people around me who is going through this with me. Supporting people through depression can cause anxiety and stress for loved ones around you and I can imagine this is hard. Depression puts strain on all types of relationships and can be draining on everyone. Friendship, family and partners. Being honist with each other is so important but sooo hard to do. I dont know if anyone has seen the adverts for time to change. But just sending a txt or a phone call does make all the difference to a person with a mental dissorder. If you know someone suffering then give them a txt today. But don't forget it isn't all about them. Make shor you take time out for yourself and do something you want to do because if you take to much on yourself you won't be able to help. I am so greatfull of my friends thanx for reading. Happy day.

Saltrum

I have had a really bad week. My depression has got to the point were I can't work for a while. Sucks. I have been put back up on higher medication and want to sleep all day every day. But having a family this isn't something I can do. So to try and cheer myself up I come here.
Saltrum. This has always been a special place for me. I use to come here with my grandparents when I was very little. I always remember taking my bike, riding half way down and making my grandad carry me and my bike home, then having banana and honey sandwiches mad by my gran. Yum. It is really nice being able to walk around with my dog Harry, crunch the leaves squelch in the mud and get away from everything. It is only about a 15 Minuit drive from my house but when your in the woods it feels like your a million miles away. It brings back such good memory's so always feel a bit better after coming here.
Any one else have happy places?
Think about them bet they make you smile.
Sad day.

this was a really nice bench looking out over the water couldn't get a better picture because there was a massive sign saying warning wasp nest!

All the small things

This week has been really strange. My mood has been all over the place the begining of the week I was soooo angry with old drivers. I have nearly has two accidents this week because of them. I don't think it is because of what they do it is the compleat lack of knowledge of it. I did speak to one of the drivers. And he said well that was the lane I wanted so I just went in it! I didn't see you there. I had to go up on the the curb to stop him from hitting me!!!!!!!
I did go to rout 38 again on Monday witch is always good.
Middle of the week wasn't so bad. Just a bit boring. So taught myself to crochet. Hooray. It is so easy and so much quicker then knitting. I saw a blog on here last week and unfortunately I can't remember who put it up but it was about crochet and I thought I would give it a go. So thanx for that mistory blogger :)
I braught a push bike this week. Me and Chris are determine to loose weight he likes riding bikes I can ride a bike seemed like a good idea. We will be going out on them this weekend. I haven't rode a bike for years and years. So this could go horribly wrong.
And last but not least I acchieved something amazing at work this week. I can't go in to it because of client confidentiality. But I managed to motivate someone enough to go out for the 1st time in over a year. I was unbelievably happy with this and so was the client :)
Happy day.

More about me. And depression

Starting with the good and ending with the not so good. Had a great couple of days. Chris braught me a new mug. I braught Chris a new picture. and Whent to see the new transformers movie. Also whent to the Lord Louis pub for a carvery they do the best roast And ice creams. I honistly could eat my weight in ice cream. Sad news is to hear about robbin Williams. Some good has come out of this people are now talking about depression. I know there are lots of web pages about it. But there is no better help then friends and letting people know about it. I have depression and have had it for about 10years now. I am on meds for it and gradually dropping in millagrams but that has taken a long time and a whole lot of support. Not only that you HAVE to be honist.this is very hard to do because you feel a burden on people. (This is from own experience and I can't speak for others). Because I don't keep my depression to myself I have managed to help a few people talk about it. Talking to someone who has a simmilar condition ( I say similar because no one is the same) is easier to talk to then a partner sometimes. This isn't because you don't want to talk to them about it it is usually because you just can't. You have no idea why you feel the way you do or how you act and when you say to someone I don't know why I feel like this they don't tend to understand. Not through ignorance or anything, but how can someone else understand what is happening to you if you don't yourself. Anyway I don't want to go on about it I will talk more about it but not all in one go. But I do finish my bloggs with happy day or sad day depending on how I am. So happy day today oh and I dyslexic. So apologys for my grammer and spelling. Bear with me :) happy day
